A delegation from the Islamic Republic of Iran Cricket Association visited the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) headquarters in Lahore, where officials discussed opportunities to promote cricket and strengthen bilateral cooperation. According to the PCB, the Iranian delegation met with Chief Operating Officer Sameer Ahmed Syed and PSL Chief Executive Officer Salman Naseer. The delegation also visited Gaddafi Stadium, the Cricket Museum and the National Cricket Academy, where it reviewed Pakistan’s cricketing and training facilities. During the visit, officials from the PCB and the Iran Cricket Association discussed ways to promote cricket and expand cooperation between the two sides. The two organisations also agreed that Pakistani coaches would provide coaching to Iran’s junior and senior teams, while exploring further opportunities for cooperation and cricket development. The visit marks a potential step towards strengthening cricketing ties between Pakistan and Iran and creating more opportunities for players and coaching staff from both countries.
