Quetta — Balochistan's home minister said two minor girls, aged 12 and 16, have been rescued after being prepared for use in suicide attacks.

According to the minister, the recruitment followed deaths in the girls' immediate family — a pattern in which bereavement is used as leverage against those left behind.

The Frontier Voice is not naming the girls or their district. Both are minors, and identifying them would carry a risk that outlives the news cycle.

The developments were reported by Dawn on 29 August 2026. The Frontier Voice has not independently verified the details and will update this report as more information becomes available.
