The Bahria Enclave administration has launched a crackdown on unregistered cafes and restaurants, issuing show-cause notices to several well-known food outlets for allegedly violating the Pakistan Hotel and Restaurant Act.

According to the administration, the move is aimed at ensuring that all food businesses operating within Bahria Enclave are properly registered and fully compliant with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.

The authorities confirmed that show-cause notices have been served to Gloria Jean's Coffee, Cafe Macaw, Wild Wings, Hot and Spicy, Hafism Coffee and Cake, Burgeriza, and Cafe 007, alleging that they were operating without the required registration.

Officials stated that by continuing business activities without obtaining mandatory registration, the establishments had allegedly violated provisions of the Pakistan Hotel and Restaurant Act.

The administration has directed the concerned businesses to submit their responses to the notices and comply with all legal requirements within the prescribed timeframe.

Authorities also warned that further legal action may be taken against any establishment that fails to regularize its status or continues operating in violation of the law.
