Pakistani television and radio actor and producer Syed Mohsin Gilani has made a series of unusual claims about jinn during a recent podcast, where he spoke about what he described as his personal experiences with supernatural beings.
Gilani claimed that he is the “king of the jinn” and said that a jinn named “Najeeb” has been with him for the past 12 years, since the death of his father.
The actor further claimed that his ancestors also had relationships with jinn and suggested that such connections could be passed down through generations.
According to Gilani, jinn are also creations of Allah and have different religious groups. He said that jinn generally do not harm humans but may sometimes make their presence known.
He also claimed that humans cannot simply command jinn to obey them, adding that jinn are not bound to serve people. During the podcast, he shared various anecdotes involving jinn, including claims that they like sweets and would visit sweet shops.
Gilani also referred to actor Ahsan Khan while recounting an incident in which he claimed he arranged a meeting for Khan with another person at the shrine of Hazrat Bahauddin Zakariya in Multan at around 2 a.m.
During the discussion, Gilani also encouraged people to recite Surah Al-Rahman and Surah Al-Fatiha and emphasized understanding their translation.
