Pakistani actress Sonia Hussyn has expressed concern over the increasing incidents of violence and sexual abuse against women and children, urging authorities to take serious and effective measures to protect vulnerable children.

In a video shared on Instagram, Hussyn questioned how many more innocent lives would have to be lost before authorities take stronger action. She stressed that such incidents cannot simply be treated as isolated crimes and called for investigations into possible networks, platforms and sources facilitating or benefiting from child exploitation.

The actress also called for an investigation into the possible role of the dark web and emphasized the need for long-term preventive measures, accountability and public awareness rather than temporary outrage following individual incidents.

She further urged the government, television channels and social media platforms to play a stronger role in educating parents and families about potential risks and ways to protect children.
