Bollywood actress Rani Mukerji has reflected on her three-decade journey in Indian cinema, expressing gratitude to audiences who allowed her performances and characters to become part of their lives.
Mukerji said an artist’s real journey begins when their performance reaches someone’s heart. Looking back at 30 years in the industry, she described the reach of her films, characters and voice across different parts of the world as a source of both pride and humility.
The actress said every character she has portrayed has helped her grow not only as an artist but ultimately as a person. Her three-decade career has included acclaimed performances in films such as Black, Hichki, Mardaani and Mrs Chatterjee vs Norway.
Mukerji has also said that she does not measure her journey only through box-office figures or awards. Instead, she values the moments when a performance genuinely connects with audiences.
Meanwhile, fans are also looking forward to her reported reunion with Shah Rukh Khan in the upcoming action thriller King. Rani Mukerji is listed among the film's cast, with the movie currently expected to release on December 24, 2026.
