A devastating flash flood has swept through several villages in Rasuwa district of Nepal, leaving at least 9 people dead and 384 others missing.
According to reports, the flash flood struck the district bordering Tibet, causing widespread destruction and sweeping away several villages.
The Nepal Tourism Board said that 291 foreign nationals are among those reported missing, including 105 Indian citizens.
Eight South Korean nationals working on a hydropower project in the area are also missing, while another 10 South Korean citizens are reportedly stranded in the affected region.
Rescue teams are carrying out search and relief operations, but difficult mountainous terrain and the ongoing impact of the flooding are making rescue efforts challenging.
