The Pakistan Meteorological Department has forecast another spell of rain across upper and central parts of the country from August 13 to 15, warning of possible urban flooding and landslides in vulnerable areas.
According to the forecast, rain is expected in Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan and upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa from the evening or night of August 13 through August 15.
Parts of northeastern Punjab are also likely to receive rain accompanied by gusty winds and thunderstorms.
Rain is expected in Islamabad, Rawalpindi and the Potohar region, while Sargodha, Faisalabad, Jhang, Toba Tek Singh and Khushab are also among the areas forecast to receive rainfall.
The weather department has warned of urban flooding in low-lying areas of Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Mardan, Swabi, Gujranwala, Gujrat, Sialkot and Lahore.
There is also a risk of landslides in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, Murree, Galiyat and Kashmir.
Tourists and travellers have been advised to remain cautious during the forecast period, while farmers have been urged to plan agricultural activities according to the expected weather conditions.
Relevant authorities have also been directed to remain alert and take necessary precautionary measures.
