A grand ceremony was held in Islamabad to mark the National Day of Saudi Arabia, hosted by the Saudi Embassy.
National Assembly Speaker Ayaz Sadiq attended the event as the chief guest, while federal ministers, senior government officials, diplomats and prominent personalities from various walks of life were also present.
Speaking on the occasion, Saudi Chargé d’Affaires Naif bin Milafikh highlighted the longstanding ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia and emphasized the two countries’ shared commitment to security, stability and prosperity.
A special song reflecting the close political and military ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia was also presented during the ceremony.
The event was attended by prominent representatives from various sectors of Pakistani society.
