Twenty-one police personnel have been suspended in Rahim Yar Khan over allegations of corruption and misuse of authority.
According to District Police Officer Irfan Ali Sumo, departmental proceedings have also been initiated against the suspended personnel. He said strict action would be taken against anyone found involved in corruption or misuse of official powers, without discrimination.
The DPO emphasized that merit, transparency and the rule of law would be ensured within the police department. He said departmental action against those found responsible would continue in accordance with the relevant rules.
