Punjab Senior Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb has criticised Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi, saying that he is bringing disrespect and disrepute to the office he holds.
In a statement regarding PTI’s planned September 27 long march, Aurangzeb alleged that elements involved in past violence against police were once again preparing to confront the state.
She said that no country could allow groups to attack the state and accused PTI of once again preparing for what she described as an assault against Pakistan.
The Punjab senior minister further said that the government would not allow a repeat of the 2014 sit-in or the events of May 9 on September 27. Her remarks come amid PTI’s plans for a protest and long march on September 27.
