U.S. President Donald Trump has dismissed reports claiming that Pakistan or China is supplying weapons to Iran, saying the allegations are not accurate.
According to international media reports, Trump was asked during a press conference whether China had provided air defense systems to Iran and whether Pakistan had played any role in the process.
In response, the U.S. president said that Chinese President Xi Jinping had assured him that China was not supplying any form of weapons to Iran.
Trump also urged caution against relying on unverified reports and speculation, emphasizing that sensitive international matters should be assessed on the basis of credible information.
The Chinese government has likewise rejected reports suggesting that it is providing arms to Iran, calling such claims baseless.
Pakistan has also reiterated its position on the matter. Officials have stated that Pakistani territory is not being used for the transfer of any weapons to Iran and have rejected all related allegations.
Pakistan further reaffirmed its commitment to regional peace and stability, stressing that diplomacy and dialogue remain the preferred means of resolving disputes.
