The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) conducted an intelligence-based operation against suspected terrorists in Garhi Sherdad along Warsak Road in Peshawar.
According to the report, one suspected terrorist was killed during an exchange of fire, while police constable Afaq was martyred. Two other security personnel were also injured in the operation.
The injured personnel were shifted to hospital for medical treatment. Additional police and CTD personnel reached the area following the incident, while the operation and search activities continued.
