Iran’s Supreme National Security Council Secretary Mohsen Rezaei has said the United States must first accept and implement Tehran’s conditions before negotiations can resume. He said Qatar and Pakistan are maintaining contacts with Iran as mediators, while Tehran is awaiting Washington’s response.

Rezaei said Iran’s conditions include ending the war on all fronts, releasing frozen Iranian assets, ending interference in Iran’s internal affairs, stopping cooperation with opponents of the Iranian government, ending aggression against Iranian territory and lifting the naval blockade.

The Iranian security chief said Tehran has communicated its conditions to the United States through mediators including Qatar and Pakistan and is now waiting for President Donald Trump’s response. He also warned that Iran is prepared for what he described as a decisive war if its demands are rejected.

Rezaei also discussed Iran’s nuclear policy and possible future decisions concerning the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty, while warning that any renewed US attack could trigger Iranian strikes against US military bases.
