LAHORE: A female teacher has been detained in Lahore’s Badami Bagh area over allegations of physically assaulting an eight-year-old second-grade student.
According to the complainant, the student, identified as Adnan Sultan, was allegedly hit with a stick by the teacher and suffered an injury to his head.
Police said a case has been registered against the female teacher under Section 328, and legal proceedings are underway.
Police authorities said violence against children is unacceptable and that further investigation into the incident is ongoing.
