Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has said that BRICS has significant potential to expand economic cooperation among its member states and can play an important role in countering unilateral approaches.
In a statement ahead of his participation in the BRICS summit, Pezeshkian said the bloc aims to promote a multilateral system, preserve national sovereignty and strengthen trade and economic relations among member countries.
The Iranian president said BRICS members can create new opportunities through greater cooperation in trade and economic sectors. He also highlighted the bloc’s potential to promote multilateralism and respond to unilateral actions at the international level.
