Turkish actor Serhat Mustafa Kilic, known for playing Michael Kosses in the historical drama series ‘Kurulus Osman,’ has been found dead at his home in Istanbul.

The 51-year-old actor was found unresponsive on September 5 at his apartment in Istanbul’s Kağıthane district. According to the report, his friend had been trying to contact him since September 3. When she received no response, she went to check on him.

She reportedly found the actor sitting motionless on a chair in one of the rooms. After noticing that he was not breathing, she contacted emergency services. Medical teams arrived at the scene and confirmed his death.

The actor’s friend told police that Kilic had been suffering from lymphatic cancer. However, the exact cause of his death has not yet been established.

Police have launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death. Initial examinations reportedly found no visible signs of physical assault or open wounds. His body was subsequently taken to a hospital for an autopsy to determine the cause of death.

Born in 1975, Serhat Mustafa Kilic was a well-known Turkish film and television actor. His portrayal of Michael Kosses in ‘Kurulus Osman’ brought him recognition among audiences beyond Türkiye.
