LAHORE: Police have registered six cases of alleged rape involving women at different police stations across Lahore within a period of 24 hours.
According to police, cases involving the alleged attempted rape of two girls were also registered.
The FIRs state that in Kahna, two men allegedly lured a woman with the promise of a job and subjected her to sexual assault.
In another case in Baghbanpura, police registered a case against a local resident over the alleged attempted rape of a 16-year-old girl with an intellectual disability.
Police said investigations into the reported incidents are underway.
