KARACHI: The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) has seized 200 kilograms of ice from a container during an operation at Karachi Port.
According to the ANF, the operation led to the arrest of Afghan suspect Ehsanullah, described as the alleged ringleader, along with a local facilitator.
During interrogation, authorities obtained key information about drugs allegedly sent to Colombo, which was shared with Sri Lankan authorities and the US Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA).
Following the information exchange, a joint operation at Colombo Port led to the recovery of another 471 kilograms of ice concealed inside towels.
The ANF says the operation provided important information about an international drug-smuggling network.
