Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has called on the United States to answer the world over what it described as a record of alleged attacks on wedding ceremonies and public gatherings in different countries.
According to an IRGC statement, the United States has allegedly relied on false claims rather than acknowledging its past actions in attacks on public gatherings in Iran, Iraq and Afghanistan.
The statement said Iran had responded with military force to what it described as a US attack on a wedding ceremony in Sirik. The IRGC also warned that if the American public does not take steps to stop what it described as actions by the US military, they could face a reaction from those who consider themselves victims.
Meanwhile, Iranian Health Ministry spokesperson Hossein Kermanpour said 18 people had been killed and 142 injured in recent US attacks on Iran.
According to the spokesperson, those killed included two women and one child, while the injured included 61 women and 44 people under the age of 18.
