A citizen was robbed of Rs125 million (12.5 million rupees) outside a bank near Safora Chowrangi in Karachi. A case has been registered at Sachal Police Station.
According to the complaint, the victim was carrying the money from his home to deposit it at a bank when three to four armed suspects intercepted him and snatched the cash.
The suspects reportedly opened fire while fleeing, injuring a citizen identified as Amir. A bank security guard also fired shots into the air during the incident.
Police have obtained CCTV footage of the robbery and launched a search for the suspects. Authorities are also investigating the exact amount of cash stolen in the incident.
