Justice Babar Sattar, who has been transferred to the Peshawar High Court, has vacated his government residence in Islamabad. According to sources, Justice Babar Sattar vacated the official residence two days ago after the judicial holidays, following a notice issued by the Registrar of the Islamabad High Court. The State Office had cancelled the allotment of the residence on July 3. Subsequently, the Islamabad High Court Registrar issued a notice directing the judge to vacate the government house within 30 days. The issue of the official residence had remained under discussion following Justice Babar Sattar's transfer to the Peshawar High Court. Sources said that the judge has now complied with the notice and vacated the residence, bringing the matter to an administrative conclusion.
