The Ministry of Religious Affairs has announced that booking for the private Hajj scheme through the Hajj Portal will continue until the allocated quota is fully booked.

According to a statement issued by the ministry, the government's policy of making the Hajj operation fully digital is producing positive results. All seats allocated for the government Hajj scheme were filled within just seven days, while seats for the 20-to-25-day short Hajj package were booked within the first 24 hours.

The ministry said the remaining seats for the long Hajj package were also expected to be filled by 12 noon on August 25.

The Ministry of Religious Affairs clarified that booking for the private Hajj scheme through the Hajj Portal will remain open until the designated quota is completed.

The ministry described the completion of all seats under the government Hajj scheme within seven days as a significant development in the digitalization of Hajj operations. The process of collecting Hajj dues began during the night between August 18 and 19.
