Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Barrister Gohar has expressed concern over reports regarding the health of the party's founder.

Speaking to the media outside Parliament House in Islamabad, Barrister Gohar said the information received about the former prime minister's health was not encouraging.

He added that the situation had raised concerns across the country and stressed that no compromise should be made over his medical care.

Barrister Gohar said an application had been submitted to the Supreme Court seeking implementation of its August 18 order.

According to him, the court had directed that the PTI founder be shifted for treatment and that a medical board be constituted.

He requested the Supreme Court to schedule an early hearing to ensure that the medical directions were implemented.

He also expressed concern over the situation involving the PTI founder's sisters and called for their immediate release.
