A summary proposing an increase in salaries and allowances for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police has been prepared and sent to Governor Faisal Karim Kundi. The proposal recommends a security challenge allowance of up to 120% of basic salary for personnel in southern and merged districts, 100% for other settled districts, and 75% for the Hazara region. The summary also seeks billions of rupees in additional funding for police salaries, modern weapons, protective equipment, and development projects.
