Pakistani-American actor Faran Tahir is set to return to the Marvel universe, appearing in the sixth episode of Marvel Studios’ series VisionQuest as a villain.
Tahir previously played Raza, a dangerous antagonist, in Marvel’s 2008 blockbuster Iron Man. His character was associated with the group that kidnapped Tony Stark.
Nearly 18 years after the film’s release, Tahir is returning to Marvel in the same role. According to the report, his appearance and overall look will be noticeably different this time.
His return marks another appearance by a Pakistani-origin actor in a major international entertainment franchise and is being welcomed as an encouraging development for Pakistan’s entertainment industry.
