Silver prices recorded a slight decrease as well. The price of one tola of silver fell by Rs7 to Rs5,858, while the price of 10 grams decreased by Rs6 to Rs5,022. International silver prices stood at $53.80 per ounce.

The decline follows another significant drop on the previous day, when gold prices fell by Rs7,000 per tola and Rs6,001 per 10 grams in Pakistan.

Gold prices are influenced by several factors, including international market trends, fluctuations in the US dollar, geopolitical tensions, global economic uncertainty and investor demand. In Pakistan, the rupee-dollar exchange rate also plays a significant role in determining local gold prices.
