The federal government has announced new petroleum prices for the three-day period from October 24 to October 26, 2026, keeping petrol prices unchanged while increasing the price of high-speed diesel.

According to a notification issued by the Petroleum Division, petrol will continue to cost Rs377.71 per litre. The price of high-speed diesel has been increased by Rs1.91 per litre, taking its new price to Rs393.66 per litre.

The notification states that the price adjustment was made in light of changes in international oil markets, petroleum product prices, premiums and other associated costs.

The increase in diesel prices could add to transportation, freight and agricultural costs, potentially putting further pressure on the prices of essential commodities.

The revised rates will remain in effect from October 24 through October 26, 2026.
