Yemeni government forces have announced that they have gained full control of the Khaboub front near the Bab al-Mandab Strait following clashes with Houthi fighters.
According to the forces, Houthi positions were also targeted in Lahj Governorate and the city of Taiz, causing damage to Houthi personnel and vehicles.
Separately, the Saudi-led military coalition said it intercepted and destroyed a Houthi ballistic missile launched toward Taif. Houthi missiles were also intercepted in the Saudi capital, Riyadh.
Saudi Civil Defense reported that falling missile debris damaged a building, a construction site and a vehicle. Warnings about possible attacks in Jeddah and Yanbu were withdrawn a short time later.
