Family raises questions over forensic and DNA reports, alleges possible manipulation and demands a judicial commission

The Hina Javed murder case has taken a new turn after the victim’s family released an alleged audio message from Kamil Asghar, the brother of the main suspect, Faisal Asghar.

According to a report published by Jang, the family has raised serious questions about the handling of forensic evidence and DNA reports, alleging that the findings may have been manipulated. These allegations have not been independently verified in the information available.

The family claims it received the audio message on the second day after Hina Javed’s murder. According to the relatives, Kamil Asghar contacted them on August 21, discussed details of the DNA reports and asked them to remain silent.

The family further alleges that he objected to their decision to raise the murder case on social media.

Hina Javed’s family has questioned how the main suspect’s brother allegedly knew details of the DNA reports and forensic evidence so soon after the killing, which the family says occurred on August 20.

According to the family, the audio message referred to 19 pieces of forensic evidence and reportedly mentioned that the employee, Zeeshan, had been identified at 15 locations.

These details remain allegations made by the family, and the available report does not independently establish how the information was obtained or whether the forensic findings were manipulated.

The family says DIG Shoaib Khurram contacted them following a recent press conference and expressed a desire to meet. However, the relatives declined, citing a lack of confidence in the police investigation.

They reiterated their demand for a judicial commission to examine the case independently.

According to the family, the DIG also asked them to reduce their social media activity concerning the case. The family said it advised him to contact their lawyer.

The victim’s relatives maintain that an independent judicial commission is necessary to address questions surrounding the forensic evidence, DNA reports and the overall investigation.

The report provided does not include a detailed response from the police or the main suspect’s family to the latest allegations. Independent verification and responses from the relevant parties will be important in establishing the facts.
