Gold prices in Pakistan rose on Monday after declining for five consecutive days, with the price of one tola increasing by Rs1,400 to Rs423,436.

According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 10 grams of gold also increased by Rs1,201, reaching Rs363,028.

In the international market, gold prices climbed by $14 to $4,009 per ounce.

Gold prices fluctuate due to several factors, including international market rates, changes in the value of the US dollar, and local supply and demand. Global economic uncertainty and investor sentiment can also influence movements in the precious metal's price.

The latest increase following five consecutive days of decline has renewed attention on the direction of gold prices in Pakistan's local bullion market.
