WhatsApp to Introduce Direct Human Chat Support via Web Client

WhatsApp is testing a revolutionary feature to improve its user support experience on the web client. According to WABetaInfo, the latest beta version includes a “Chat with Us” option, allowing users to bypass FAQs and connect directly with the support team from the Help Section.

Once a user selects this option, they will be notified that initial responses might be AI-generated. However, users can request human assistance for a personalized response. The feature aims to make customer service faster and more organized, especially for issues where AI-based help falls short.

The “Chat with Us” feature is expected to simplify the process for web users by enabling direct interaction within the same chat window. WhatsApp is still developing this update, which will likely roll out in a future version of the web client.
