Wana Enters Day 5 of Sit-In Against Target Killings: Complete Shutdown Observed

Wana, South Waziristan, continues to witness a massive peaceful sit-in against growing incidents of target killings and lawlessness.
Led by the Wana Mutaheda Siyasi Aman Pasoon, the protest has entered its fifth consecutive day with strong public support.

On Tuesday, a complete shutter-down strike was observed in Wana Bazaar, as traders and residents stood united to amplify their call for peace. Protesters are demanding immediate action to curb insecurity, restore rule of law, and eliminate the climate of fear that has gripped the region. Participants have pledged to continue their peaceful struggle until concrete steps are taken by the authorities for sustainable peace and protection.
