Pakistan woke up to heartbreaking news on Monday as Umer Shah, the younger brother of viral child star Ahmad Shah, passed away during the early hours of Fajr.

Renowned anchor Wasim Badami, who shared a close bond with Ahmad Shah’s family, confirmed the tragic news in an emotional video message. He explained that Umer’s vomit had entered his lungs, blocking his airways and cutting off oxygen supply, ultimately leading to a fatal cardiac arrest.

Visibly shaken, Badami requested prayers for the grieving family as fans worldwide expressed sorrow and disbelief over the sudden loss.

Medical experts identified the condition as aspiration, a dangerous occurrence where stomach contents enter the lungs, causing severe airway obstruction.

The Shah family confirmed the news through Ahmad Shah’s official social media pages: “This is to inform that the little shining star of our family, Umer Shah, has returned to Allah Almighty. Please keep him and our family in your prayers.”
