Pakistan Shaheens ended Day 2 of their first four-day match against Bangladesh ‘A’ in a commanding position, thanks to Umar Amin’s masterful innings. Amin’s 177 off 211 balls, featuring 23 fours and three sixes, guided Shaheens to a strong first-innings total of 367/4 in 90 overs, securing a lead of 245 runs.

Starting the day at 2/0, Shaheens faced an early setback when opener Saim Ayub fell for 11. However, Mohammad Huraira (39) and Umar Amin steadied the innings before Huraira was dismissed. Amin then built a formidable 195-run partnership with captain Saud Shakeel, who contributed 76 runs with nine boundaries.

Amin was eventually dismissed 23 runs short of a double-century, while Saud followed soon after. At stumps, Saad Khan (31*) and Kamran Ghulam (20*) were at the crease, ready to continue the innings on Day 3. For Bangladesh ‘A’, left-arm spinner Hasan Murad was the pick of the bowlers, claiming two wickets for 49 runs.

Bangladesh ‘A’ struggled in their first innings, bowled out for 122, with Mahmudul Hasan Joy’s 65 being the only notable contribution. Pakistan’s pace attack, led by Naseem Shah and Mir Hamza, dominated the visitors, each taking three wickets.
