Turkey Announces 176 km/h Electric Train to Launch by 2025

Turkey has announced an ambitious plan to introduce a high-speed electric train capable of traveling at 176 kilometers per hour. The announcement was made by the Turkish Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, Abdulkadir Uraloglu.

“The design work for the National Electric High-Speed Train is in its final phase,” stated Uraloglu. “We are excited to see this project come to fruition and expect the service to commence by 2025.”

The National Electric Train is being developed to meet international standards, ensuring it is suitable for use not only within Turkey but also in other countries.
