Tragic Bus Accident in Kahuta Claims 20 Lives

A bus carrying approximately 25 passengers from Azad Kashmir to Rawalpindi met with a tragic fate as it plunged into a ditch near the Soon Darari bridge in Kahuta. The accident resulted in the death of 20 passengers, with several others sustaining injuries.

The exact cause of the accident is still unknown. The challenging terrain of the mountainous region has made it difficult for rescue and police officials to reach the scene, delaying critical assistance. In the meantime, local residents of Kahuta have taken the initiative to transport the injured and deceased to nearby hospitals.
