Toshakhana 2 Case Indictment Against PTI Founder and Bushra Bibi Postponed to October 5
In a key development, the Toshakhana 2 case against the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and his wife, Bushra Bibi, has been postponed, with the indictment now scheduled for October 5. The hearing took place inside Adiala Jail under the supervision of Special Judge Central Shah Rukh Arjumand.
During the proceedings, defense lawyer Intezar Panjutha requested the court to adjourn the hearing until the following Tuesday to allow more time for finalizing legal representation. However, the prosecution opposed such a lengthy delay, urging the court to set a quicker deadline, emphasizing that the accused should appoint their counsel by the next day.
Despite the prosecution’s objections, the court scheduled the next hearing for October 5. The case has garnered significant attention, with both parties now expected to finalize their legal teams before the next session.
