Torrential rains have caused widespread devastation across various regions of Pakistan, leading to the deaths of eight people and injuring 10 others. The severe weather has resulted in the flooding of low-lying areas, the destruction of standing crops, and significant damage to infrastructure, including electricity disruptions and the collapse of bridges.

The districts of Punjab have been particularly hard-hit, with flood-like conditions submerging several low-lying areas. The death toll in Punjab includes fatalities from Faisalabad, Narowal, and Rahim Yar Khan. In the mountainous regions of Mount Sulaiman in Rajanpur and Dera Ghazi Khan, rivers have overflowed due to the heavy rainfall, exacerbating the flooding situation.

Heavy rains in Balochistan, especially in areas like Toba Achakzai, Qila Abdullah, and Pashin, have injured 10 people and caused extensive damage. The downpours have flooded railway lines, destroyed crops, and damaged houses. In Chaman and Nushki, the rain swept away railway tracks, severing the Pak-Iran railway connection.

In Sindh, heavy rainfall was reported in Khairpur and Sukkur, with 180 mm of rain recorded in Sukkur, leading to electricity supply disruptions. The rainfall has also caused significant damage to agricultural land in the region.

In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the situation is dire, with South Waziristan experiencing severe flooding. Jandola Bazaar and surrounding agricultural lands have been inundated, and several houses have been damaged. Landslides and floods have blocked roads, particularly the Vana Gomal Zam Road, cutting off access to many areas. In Khyber, residents have been left to fend for themselves, with district administration providing little to no assistance as heavy rains have flooded many parts of the district.
