TikToker Kashif Zameer and Constable Arrested for Disrespecting Police Uniform
Lahore police have taken legal action against controversial TikToker Kashif Zameer and a police constable Khurram Shehzad for mocking the police uniform during a wedding event. According to police sources, the incident occurred when Zameer presented a money-filled tray to the constable and showered currency notes over him, all while he was dressed in uniform.
This act was captured on video and went viral, prompting swift police response. FIRs were registered at Qila Gujjar Singh and Sabzazar police stations under the Pakistan Electronic Crimes Act (PECA) and other laws related to defamation and disrespect of official attire.
In a shocking turn, the FIR also revealed that Zameer attempted to manipulate the narrative by using Artificial Intelligence (AI) to alter the original video. The modified clip reportedly changed the colour of the police uniform to mislead viewers and evade legal consequences.
Both the TikToker and the constable have been arrested, while further raids are underway to capture Kashif Zameer in connection with additional charges.
