Textile Asia 2025 Sparks $550M Deals, Reinforces Pakistan’s Global Industrial Standing
Pakistan’s textile sector has turned a remarkable page with the conclusion of Textile Asia 2025, the largest textile expo in South Asia. The event resulted in nearly $550 million worth of trade agreements and several MoUs for foreign investment, signifying a transformative moment for the industry.
Held over three days and organized by E-commerce Gateway Pakistan with the backing of the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC), the exhibition hosted 67,000 trade visitors and over 500 multinational firms from more than 20 countries, including major delegations from Turkey, China, and Russia.
“This is a defining moment in Pakistan’s path toward becoming a global textile hub,” said Dr. Khurshid Nizam, President of E-commerce Gateway. Azier Nizam, the Project Director, noted the unexpectedly high level of international engagement and investor confidence.
Delegates showcased next-generation textile technology, including innovations in automation, eco-friendly production, and sustainable practices, reflecting Pakistan’s commitment to industrial modernization. Industry panels and expert talks further emphasized automation, AI integration, and green manufacturing.
Stakeholders believe the event significantly boosted export opportunities, technology transfer, and international collaboration. The 29th edition of the expo is now the largest in Pakistan’s history and is expected to strengthen Pakistan’s position in the global value chain.
