The FIFA World Cup 2026 quarter-final line-up has been confirmed following the conclusion of the Round of 16, leaving just eight teams in contention for football's biggest prize.

The quarter-finals will begin on July 10 (Pakistan Standard Time), with the winners advancing to the semi-finals while the losing sides will be eliminated from the tournament.

Norway produced the biggest upset of the Round of 16 by defeating five-time world champions Brazil to book a place in the quarter-finals.

The semi-finals are scheduled for July 15 and 16 in Dallas and Atlanta, while both the third-place playoff and the FIFA World Cup 2026 Final will be played on July 19 in Miami, where the next world champions will be crowned.
