In a proud moment for Pakistan, SP Beenish Fatima, Rawalpindi’s Chief Traffic Officer, has been awarded the prestigious ‘2024 IACP 40 Under 40’ by the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP). The annual award recognizes 40 police officers under the age of 40 from a global pool of hundreds of nominations for their leadership, dedication, and contributions to law enforcement.
The award ceremony, held in Boston, saw Fatima among the select group of young police officers honoured for excelling in their roles and leading in their communities. Fatima is the only Pakistani officer to receive this recognition in 2024.
SP Beenish Fatima, who also holds the distinction of being the first female Chief Traffic Officer in Rawalpindi, was congratulated by Inspector General of Police Punjab Dr Usman Anwar, who described her as a “valuable asset” to the force.
