Sindh Govt to Distribute 500,000 More Free Solar Systems, Says CM Murad Ali Shah

Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah announced on Saturday that the provincial government is set to distribute 500,000 additional free solar systems to alleviate the energy crisis. Speaking at an event in Sukkur, he emphasized that 200,000 home solar systems have already been provided under the directive of PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari.
He further expressed confidence in the continued support of the people of Sindh, stating, “The masses have shown their trust in PPP, and we will return to them with success in 2029.”
In a separate development, the Sindh Cabinet has approved an increase in the upper age limit for government jobs by five years, a decision that will not apply to Sindh Police and Public Service Commission positions.
The cabinet meeting, chaired by CM Murad Ali Shah, included provincial ministers, advisors, and senior officials. Several important agenda points were discussed, and major decisions were made regarding energy relief and job opportunities.
With these initiatives, the PPP-led Sindh government aims to address both the energy crisis and employment challenges in the province.
