Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) senior leader Shazia Marri has launched a sharp critique of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, labeling him “mentally unstable” during a fiery press conference in Islamabad on Saturday. Marri expressed outrage at Gandapur’s alleged derogatory comments directed at journalists, describing his appointment as a disservice to the people of KP.

Marri also accused the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder of endorsing Gandapur’s statements, claiming that PTI’s actions have been a significant source of unrest in the country. “The situation in KP is alarming, and while PPP has never supported governor rule, the current state of affairs could lead to it,” Marri stated.

She further noted that Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari, the PPP Chairman, jokingly suggested that Afghanistan should keep Gandapur due to his behavior.

In a different address, Marri urged Pakistanis to embrace the vision of Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah, celebrating his efforts that laid the foundation for Pakistan as an independent nation. She emphasized the need to follow Jinnah’s ideology to ensure prosperity and stability for the country.
