Shah Mahmood Qureshi Hospitalised After Chest Pain, Condition Reported Stable

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) senior leader Shah Mahmood Qureshi was transferred from Kot Lakhpat Jail, Lahore to the Punjab Institute of Cardiology (PIC) on Saturday after he experienced chest pain during custody.
Prison authorities revealed that Qureshi initially complained of discomfort while in jail. The prison medical team evaluated his condition and later referred him to PIC for detailed medical assessment. Upon his arrival at PIC, doctors conducted various tests including ECG and blood work.
Hospital officials confirmed that Shah Mahmood Qureshi’s condition is currently stable, but further tests are still being carried out to determine the cause of the chest discomfort. Tight security arrangements were made during the transfer and hospital stay.
His family has been officially informed of the situation by jail authorities. Political supporters and party members are closely monitoring updates regarding his health.
