Renowned Writer Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar Threatened Over ‘Leaked Video’, Extortion Demand of Rs 15 Million
Renowned Pakistani writer and director Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar has reportedly received threats from an unidentified individual demanding Rs 15 million in extortion. The caller allegedly threatened to release an indecent video involving Aamna Urooj if the demand was not met.
According to Qamar, he was at his residence when he received multiple calls and threatening messages from the unknown number. The caller repeatedly demanded money and warned of “serious consequences” in case of refusal.
DIG Operations Lahore, Muhammad Faisal Kamran, has taken immediate notice of the incident and formed a special investigation team. Police say the culprit will soon be traced and brought to justice, and further investigations are underway.
