Rabi Pirzada Blames TV Dramas for Rising Divorce Rates
Former singer and TV host Rabi Pirzada has voiced concerns over the rising rates of divorce, attributing part of the issue to the portrayal of wives in television dramas. Pirzada criticized these shows for depicting wives as problematic figures who mistreat their husbands, including scenes of physical aggression and abandonment.
She argued that such portrayals have a detrimental effect on younger generations, encouraging them to assert their rights without acknowledging their responsibilities. Pirzada stressed the importance of focusing on real-life relationships and addressing the growing trend of delayed marriages, which she finds concerning.
In addition to her social commentary, Pirzada revealed that she receives numerous marriage proposals daily but prefers to keep her personal life private. She urged people to direct their attention to the women and girls around them and to make genuine efforts towards establishing meaningful relationships.
