Punjab Anti-Polio Program Launches Comprehensive Plan for Vaccination During Eid Travels

The Punjab Anti-Polio Program has developed a comprehensive plan to administer polio drops to children traveling during Eid, aiming to prevent the spread of the virus. According to a program spokesperson, children entering Punjab will receive polio drops at designated locations across 13 districts in the province.
Special polio teams will be stationed at bus terminals, railway stations, hospitals, and shopping centers to facilitate vaccination and ensure maximum coverage.
The designated districts for the vaccination drive include Lahore, Rawalpindi, Attock, Mianwali, Multan, Faisalabad, and Sialkot. Additional teams will be deployed in Gujranwala, Gujrat, Bahawalpur, Rahim Yar Khan, Okara, Sahiwal, Rajanpur, Dera Ghazi Khan, and Sargodha.
The deployment of polio teams will begin on March 22 and continue for 20 days to ensure comprehensive coverage and protection against the virus.
