PTI KP Finalizes Protest Plan, May Shut Down Roads Across Pakistan
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is all set to launch street protests, citing growing demands from party workers and the public for the release of the party’s founder, Imran Khan. According to KP Information Secretary Malik Adeel, governance is the provincial government’s responsibility, but the voices of PTI workers cannot be ignored.
He confirmed that strategies like road closures and cutting off national connectivity are under consideration. Junaid Akbar, PTI KP President, is mobilizing party workers across different districts to ensure impactful demonstrations.
Meanwhile, CM Ali Amin Gandapur has decided to consult Imran Khan regarding the Mines and Minerals Act. Interestingly, Junaid Akbar has also issued a warning to his own provincial government, urging them to respect public sentiment or face backlash.
A detailed protest schedule will be announced soon, with an open call to the public for maximum participation.
